I’m a qualified actuary and Independent Financial Advisor with over 35 years’ experience of advising on pensions, investments and financial protection products.
I’m a strong believer in financial advice being for everyone and not just the super-wealthy. I value long-term relationships with my clients and I’m especially passionate about helping people plan for retirement / later-life.
I’ve spent significant time living and working overseas. This has given me personal insights into the financial challenges of returning to the UK after living abroad.
I’m a keen traveller and cyclist and like to spend much of my time outside of work riding my bike in unusual places.
Caitrin Adorian
CIMA
I’m a CIMA qualified accountant. While I started my career working in the UK for a chemical corporation, I have worked in several sectors and for several organisations in the past 30 (or so) years. Much of this time has been spent outside the UK. This has provided a variety of opportunities; enabling me to experience different finance roles and benefit from having very culturally diverse teams to work with and for.
I am now using my skills to assist individuals and smaller businesses with their financial and operational management challenges. I obtained a Non-Executive Director qualification in 2016 to assist with my longer-term career plans.
Outside of work, I actually like to be outside and enjoying the fresh air, either on foot or on a bike; as long as it’s not too wet!
We are based in Prestbury, Cheshire and work with mostly, but not exclusively, clients in East Cheshire including Prestbury, Poynton, Bollington and Macclesfield. Other clients live in various parts of the UK.
